It’s Official, we’ve found Australasia’s Best Tinter at Tint a Car!

CONGRATULATIONS JOSE Guerreiro

What a day! The inaugural MEP Films Tint-Off competition with 16 finalist’s spending the day at Essendon last Saturday to find Australasia’s Best Tinter. The event drew a very proud group of tinters from around the nation all competing for the opportunity to represent Australasia in the Asian Tint Off held in November this year in Malaysia.

Proudly sponsored by LLumar Films who were represented on the day by Steven Teo from LLumar Head Office Singapore, and thanks also to the fastigeous competition chief judge, George Mariotto.

By early afternoon the point score tally was extremely close, especially amongst the top three who then fought it out to find the number one, who would be crowned ‘the best’!

The competition was fierce and the quality of work outstanding by ALL competitors, but there could only be one winner... Jose Guerreiro of Tint a Car Essendon winning by one point!  Congratulations also go to Travis Lang from Tint a Car Ringwood and Paul Baekalia of Tint a Car Fyshwick in the ACT, coming in 2nd place and 3rd place respectively.

Jose now goes on to represent Australia and New Zealand (and Tint a Car) in the LLumar Asia Pacific Tint-Off Championship, held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on 18 November this year.  Good luck Jose, we know you'll do us proud.

A GENEROUS SIDE NOTE

The owners of the cars tinted in the Tint-Off Competition were asked to make a donation for the privilege of having their vehicles tinted. We’re pleased to say that the event raised $1,000 in donations which have been donated to the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre.
